Face-to-face therapy sessions are to commence from 2nd June 2020, whilst strictly
following the HSE health guidelines
‘Return to Work Safely Protocol’
protection of clients and therapists.
You will be sent as usual a ‘confirmation text’ the day before your appointment.
Please ensure you bring your mobile phone to appointments, and show the ‘confirmation text’ as proof of attending an essential service appointment, if requested by the Gardaí when travelling to the session.
The text will not disclose that the session is for counselling/psychotherapy to protect your confidentiality.
The ‘confirmation text’ will ask you to confirm COVID-19 related health question. If you have any of the symptoms listed by the HSE https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/coronavirus/protect-yourself-and-others.html, if you have been in direct contact with someone who has been confirmed with a diagnosis of COVID-19, or if you are required to self-isolate, please inform your therapist. The appointment can be re-scheduled or the session can take place online via Skype.
Thank you for appreciating these guidelines, for yours and our safety.
